High School Job Coaches

How are we making a difference in Allen County High Schools?

This year, our High School Job Coach will be on-site at Apollo Career Center and Lima Senior Career Tech one day per week to focus on career-technical students who plan to enter the workforce after graduation. We are prioritizing stronger relationships with employers who hire local youth, providing more targeted support as students begin their career pathways, and focusing efforts on seniors who want and need individualized coaching. OhioMeansJobs Allen County continues to support and partner with all 14 Allen County high schools to identify students who would benefit from individualized guidance through career exploration, career pathways, and job-readiness skill development. We will continue to be available to present to all local seniors throughout the year and remain committed to serving all schools in the county.
