The Allen County Sheriff’s Office will be holding an Informational Session for their new Cadet Program on Tuesday, February 21, at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at OhioMeansJobs Allen County, located at 951 Commerce Pkwy. in Lima.

The Cadet Program will provide the costs of tuition and equipment for a limited number of individuals to become cadets! Those selected to participate will receive full-time pay and medical benefits while enrolled in the Rhodes State College Basic Police Officer Academy. Upon successfully completing the program and obtaining OPOTA certification, these individuals will be hired as full-time Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
